Well, that didn’t take long! Only hours after Funko Pop! fan outlets revealed the first look at the upcoming line of Stargate Pop! vinyl figures, this morning pre-orders have begun for the five characters at major retailers.
Entertainment Earth and Amazon.com (so far only the U.S. site) have both listed Stargate Pops! for pre-order. Entertainment Earth currently has each character listed for sale at $11.99 (plus shipping), while Amazon is asking $12.99 but with free Prime delivery (subject to change).
The five figures in the first wave will be available July 8. Jack, Daniel, and Ra are each listed at around 4-inches in height, while the Anubis and Horus figures (which come with a metallic paint job) are approximately 5.5 inches tall.

MGM historically has treated the 1994 movie, SG-1, Atlantis, and SGU as separate licenses but often bundles them together with new licensees. It is common for Stargate licensees to begin with the original feature film, and (assuming there is some success in the sales department) to move on from there to the TV universe. So we are anticipating that SG-1 characters like Teal’c and Samantha Carter — as well as the TV portrayals of Jack and Daniel — will make an appearance shortly.
Stargate’s original feature film is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. The original movie hit theaters at the end of October 1994.
